A little Murano in the south of Essonne.
Built in 1978, owned by the glassworks la Rochère, created in 1745, Soisy glassworks takes up traditional glasswork in Ile de France.
Sand of Fontainebleau rocks, very pure, is still used nowadays. You could see the glass makers at work and visit the exhibition hall high incolors.
The glassworks received the title of Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Factory) in 2006 from the Industry Ministry.
